Application Specifications:
Fiberglass Surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, loose paint, and contamination. Prime surface with suitable fiberglass bonding primer. Apply AMA with hvlp or conventional spray equipment using a tip size of 1.8 - 2.2mm. Apply AMA in a cross-hatching motion to ensure 100% complete coverage.
Aluminum surfaces must be wiped clean using appropriatte cleaner prior to AMA application. Apply 1 coat of high quality epoxy primer or suitable bonding primer. Apply AMA with an hvlp or conventional spray set-up. Use cross-hatch technique to ensure 100% coverage.
Boats: It is recommended to apply a marine-type clear coat over the AMA when painting floor boards or any other horizontal surface that is suceptible to water pooling.
